RW Doug Ellis said, “A million thanks for everyone who came together to make Picnic in the Park a resounding success once again this year! I just got done counting the cash. We had a banner year! After all is said and done, we cleared almost $3,400! It was the perfect storm of a nice weather, enough stock to sell and lots of people sticking around for the holiday. It was another hot July day but as always, we so much help it was a lot of fun and we’d all do it again in a heartbeat! We sold 408 hamburgers, 396 hot dogs and 56 lbs of strawberries in on shortcake with whipped cream.”
